: Hello, to any and everyone whose presence has ever graced the campus of Yokota High School!! I run the Yokota High School Alumni Association, and we are looking for YOU, if you haven't already contacted us. I started the YHSAA in 1991, while organizing my first YHS all-years reunion. I have since found John Hearn, who runs the database, and is in the process of creating our very own website. My latest YHS-related activity is putting together the YHSAA reunion registration packet, which John has mentioned to everyone who has e-mailed him at hearnj@netxpress.com, and which was a bear to get ready, but is now in the mail, which is a load off my back. It's amazing how I was affected by seeing the names of people I knew way back when, and to see that they've grown up! I still look back on my Seishun 1978 yearbook. Even though I left Yokota in 1978 after my sophmore year, I never felt that my next school in the states was my high school. I just turned 40, but it seems like yesterday. I think often of all of you I knew back in those years at Yokota. I remember a lot of people and a lot of things, but I sometimes wonder what has been mixed up with imagination. I am doing well, living in New Hampshire right now, married to a lovely wife and I have two boys, ages 3 and 6-1/2. I hope all of you are well and in good spirits! Drop me a line anytime! |

Hey everyone, I've been looking for something like this for awhile now. The good old days!! I've changed alot but not at all if that makes sense. I was a little skinny kid way back then, didn't fit in anywhere but hung out with every one. Well at least I'm not skinny anymore. I've been in the AF for nearly 20yrs, the first 10 working on fighters, then I became an air traffic controller. I was stationed in Idaho and requested anywhere in PACAF to get out. Wound up in England instead, then DMAFB Tucson Az. I've been stationed in Las Vegas for the last 8 yrs. I was going into the police force here, but the FAA is now allowing retirees over 31 in , yeah!!! The short time we were at Yokota was a great time for me. I sure do miss the good times had there with all my friends. I loved the school dances and at the youth center. The shopping trips off base. Anyone know where Ronda Eargle is these days? Last I knew she was in South Carolina I think. I've been in touch with others and have had the opportunity to see some again as well, what a treat that was. Also, does anyone know what happened to Mrs. Branch? Hello Yokotans. I really miss the country - haven't been in Japan
since I left in '84. My school experience at Yokota goes back to the first
grade (at east elementary - is it still there?). I was there for grades
1-3, and moved to the west side for 5-9. Some kids I hung out with -
Christopher Barnett, my D&D buddy Somchai "Sonny" Nilsorn, Michael
Gast (sp?), and Tony Adams, and my neighbors Wayne (Junior) and Theresa
Mitchell. I see a lot of familiar names here, but I can't recall the faces. I have lots of good and bad memories at Yokota, from throwing snowballs to those who deserved it, to surviving Mr. Baker's hellish Social Studies class. "Everyone now open your folder to E-5, ('E' for exams) If you missed Exam 5, you will shortly receive a mailing notice, which you will later file under the 'M' tab." Maintaining such a tome with a tab for every letter was a challenging and humbling experience which I'll never forget. I didn't have the privilege of finishing high school at Yokota, and graduated from Monterey High in California. I went on to San Jose State University to obtain my B.S. in computer science, and I currently work as a software developer for a dot com. I am happily married to my loving wife of 2 years, Claire (check out our website for pics). We recently moved from San Jose to Elk Grove, and hope to start a family soon. Feel free to email me! |

Hello everybody! I lived in Yokota west side and American villege in Oyama danchi for eleven years and I left Yokota to castle air force base in California in the summer of 1981. Way back in the days. I would had graduated in 1988 here. I am looking for Keven Roberts, Mike Raymen my half Japanese homeboyz like me I used to hang out with them.
